I just left the Victoria branch and had to leave a review! I met Kasia and Hari, and they were both absolutely wonderful. I’m extremely scared of blood and needles—they usually make me feel sick or pass out . Hari was so gentle and reassuring while taking my blood sample, and Kasia did an amazing job keeping me distracted and helping me stay calm throughout the whole process. It’s so refreshing to meet staff who are not only professional but also genuinely kind, caring, and committed to providing excellent customer service. They made what is usually a very stressful experience so much easier for me. Thank you both for your kindness and compassion. Because of the way I was treated today, I’ll definitely be recommending the Victoria branch to anyone I know who needs blood tests done!!!!!

Common Gluten & Coeliac Queries

What is the difference between coeliac disease and gluten intolerance?
Coeliac disease is an autoimmune condition where gluten triggers the immune system to attack the small intestine. Gluten intolerance (or sensitivity) may cause similar symptoms but does not involve the same autoimmune damage.
Can coeliac disease cause neurological issues?
Yes, undiagnosed coeliac disease can sometimes lead to issues like chronic fatigue, brain fog, and depression due to nutrient malabsorption and systemic inflammation.
How does IgA deficiency affect testing?
Some individuals with coeliac disease also have a selective IgA deficiency, which can cause false-negative results in standard IgA-based screening tests. Including total IgA and IgG markers helps improve diagnostic accuracy.
