For tests like Diabetes Profile II, FIRI, or fasting lipid profiles, please fast for 10 to 12 hours beforehand. Avoid all food, tea, coffee, and juices during this time. You are welcome to drink plain water to stay hydrated for your blood draw.
An Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) involves an initial baseline blood draw, followed by a glucose drink at the clinic. We will then perform secondary blood draws at 60 and 120 minutes. Please plan to stay and rest comfortably with us in our Victoria clinic throughout the process.
